Privacy Policy and Security of your Personal Information

Personal information received from you by Med-E-Serv when you register to become a user of the Doctor Connect Online Cultural Orientation Program will not be disclosed to any third parties.

Med-E-Serv collects the following information provided by you at the time of registration:

  • Your name
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Professional
  • Email address
  • User name and password
  • Session log information (i.e. Date and time of use of the program)
  • Details of education units undertaken/completed.

Med-E-Serv uses this information to:

  • Control access to services
  • Register participation in and completion of modules
  • In conjunction with the session log data, provide de-identified, aggregated information for internal service evaluation, quality improvement and education product development
  • In conjunction with session log data, provide de-identified aggregated information to Queensland Health and the Department of Health and Ageing on service usage
  • Analyse demand for services and usage patterns.

Med-E-Serv may use cookies to control your access and authenticated education session.

All personal information provided to Med-E-Serv for the purposes of registering for the Doctor Connect Online Cultural Orientation Program is stored in a database on their secure server. This server is maintained to prevent unauthorised external access to your personal information.

Access to the database is restricted to authorised persons only, who are responsible for updating the database, providing user support and access for the purposes of de-identified reporting.

While Med-E-Serv is committed to maintaining the security of your personal information, they cannot guarantee the security of your registration information during its transmission to them.
